A. The Contractor shall be able to furnish and deliver, on an as-ordered basis, aluminized and polymer coated corrugated metal pipe and bands complete with necessary hardware, in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions contained herein. The Contractor shall furnish pipe as described in this solicitation and listed on the purchase order, to include pipe diameter, gauge, coatings, corrugation, and segment length. Delivery will be within the Counties of Bedford and Franklin within the Bedford Residency, which may include delivery to VDOT Area Headquarters or directly to the job site. BID PRICE: Bid Price shall include all expenses to furnish and deliver the requested pipe and bands including, but not limited to materials, manufacturing costs, use of lifting hooks, overhead, incidentals, freight and delivery charges, etc. B. SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS: 1. ROAD AND BRIDGE SPECIFICATIONS: All pipe will be inspected by VDOT and shall conform to section 101 and 232 of the 2020 VDOT's Road and Bridge Specifications (latest edition) and the 2020 or latest version of Road and Bridge Standard PCI 107.7. CORRUGATED METAL PIPE QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM: All pipe shall be manufactured by a VDOT approved manufacturer. In order to be considered responsive to this bid, the manufacturer that produces the pipe must be a participant in the VDOT Quality Assurance/Quality Control Program (QA/QC). Any pipe delivered from this contract that is not from a VDOT approved manufacturer shall be replaced by the Contractor at no additional cost to VDOT.
