Common areas to Mow 1.Cedartown High School (includes all banks and slopes in stadium also includes ditch between practice fields and tennis courts) Inside track is covered with- in Athletics. 2.Westside Elementary School 3.Cedartown Middle School 4. Cherokee Elementary School 5.Northside Elementary School 6.Youngs Grove Elementary School (includes evacuation trail) 7.Van Wert Elementary School 8.Eastside Elementary 9.Rockmart High School (includes everything currently being mowed except inside track at turf field) a. AG Barn, Cut and Trim around wooden fence in front on regular schedule. Weed eat or mow up to livestock fence around sides and back of building 4 times a year. 10.Rockmart Middle School 11.Julia Dean Center 12.Food Service 13.Maintenance Department (including new building) 14.Bus Maintenance Facility 15.Polk School District Board Office 1. When viewing sites, base price is on areas that are presently being maintained. Contractors must survey the sites and verify quantities to mow. 2.Retention/detention areas are to be mowed / trimmed 4 times annually, both adjacent to and inside. Except Van Wert those bush hog areas should be cut monthly April through October. Youngs Septic field shall be mowed March/May/July/September/November Rockmart High Pond between Baseball and Softball mow March/May/July/September/November. 3. Mowing Schedule A. Grass shall be cut at least once every (7) days in the months of April through October. During the months of November, December, January, February, and March the grass must be mowed once monthly to keep a neat appearance. B. Contractor is responsible for scheduling around all testing , special event and home ball games. Owner will provide schedules upon request from contractor. C. All facilities will have set mow date each week unless weather does not permit. Schools must be notified of mow dates. Once a mowing is started all locations shall be completed in 2 days.
