The successful contractor will clean and clear the drainage ditch back to its original parameters only. No wider or deeper. This project includes excavation of leaf litter, limbs, trash and debris only. No soil is to be excavated. Small overhanging limbs may be trimmed if necessary to complete the project. All material excavated will be loaded and hauled to the north landfill. The project begins at the north west corner of the Walmart parking lot and State Route 609 Redwood Road and continues along the northern edge of the Walmart parking lot to a culvert under the entrance of the store for a total distance of approximately 537 feet. Both the beginning and end of the project will be designated by flags. Any tracks or “scars” left in the open mowed areas will have to be back filled with clean fill dirt and smoothed out.
