The successful contractor will clean and clear the drainage ditch back to its original parameters. The excavations of leaf litter, limbs and minor sediment will be down to the original parameters only. No wider or deeper. All excavated material will have to be loaded and hauled to the North Landfill. The project begins at U. S. Route 13 and continues approximately 900 feet to a point where the ditch flows freely. The project will be marked at the beginning and termination points with flags. Any tracks or “scars” left in the open area at the beginning of the project, or if any deep ruts are created in the agriculture field, will have to be back filled with clean fill dirt and smoothed out. Near the end of the project is a 6’x12’ area that has started to erode. This area will require repair to stop the erosion. The bank will need to be sloped at 45 degrees with filter cloth and rip rap placed on it. Fill dirt or crusher run stone can be used behind the rip-rap to fill any small voids
