SCOPE OF SERVICESDESIRED: On a consultant/consulting basis, serves asthe Town of Clarkdale’s Town Engineer of Record, which includes the provision of a variety of professional engineering and technical services for the community and technical assistance to builders, developers, and the public. Serves as the City’s Floodplain Administrator. The services provided shall include, but are not limited to: 1. Designs Capital Improvement Projects, provides draft and final plans in hard and electronic formats. 2. Prepares engineering documents required for all grant applications. 3. Reviews all residential and commercial development and improvement plans for conformance with applicable ordinances, rules, regulations or other codes. 4. Assists the Town’s Planning and Building Departments, public and builders in identifying the location of rightsof-way, easements and existing utilities to ensure compliance with localrestrictions. 5. Facilitates the advancement of public projects through various phases of implementation. Plans, organizes, and administers project designs and construction contracts, monitors process of contracting services, schedules, and meetings as directed. Prepares project budget and schedules. 6. Contributes to the preparation of requests for proposals/qualifications, coordinates the consultant selection process, makes recommendations to the Town Council, attends meetings, reviews plans, and cost estimates, makes technical decisions and recommendations to Town, coordinates with other departments, and prepares plans and specifications for all Town capital projects...
