The State of South Carolina is looking to establish a new statewide term contract for support services for Microsoft products and platforms in two (2) lots and multiple awards. LOT 1 will be brand name specific for “Microsoft Unified Support Services” directly from Microsoft via Microsoft and/or Microsoft’s “Unified Broker Partners”, and LOT 2 will be alternative third-party support services for Microsoft Products and Platforms. LOT 2; The Contractor shall provide third-party technical support services for the Microsoft products and platforms used by the Using Governmental Units (UGUs) across the state of South Carolina. Services shall be delivered remotely, with secure access to government systems provided as authorized by the UGUs. The Contractor shall deliver incident resolution, proactive system support, engineering design, consulting, and advisory services in accordance with industry best practices and the requirements of this solicitation. Offeror must be a Microsoft Premier Partner. 1.1 Objectives 1.1.1 Ensure timely resolution of Microsoft product and platform issues through remote technical support. 1.1.2 Reduce downtime and improve system performance with proactive monitoring and best-practice advisory of the UGUs Microsoft products and platform. 1.1.3 Provide enhanced engineering and solution design services to modernize and optimize the UGUs Microsoft environments. 1.1.4 Deliver consulting services to support governance, enhanced security, and other strategic initiatives within the UGUs Microsoft environment. 1.1.5 Offer an independent, cost-effective alternative to Microsoft direct support while maintaining escalation capabilities when necessary.
