A. Contractor shall perform the duties detailed below for the removal and replacement of existing surveillance system, access card readers, and network video recorder. See Attachment B – Interior Camera and Access Control Reader Locations for existing equipment locations. B. Contractor shall fully test the new system to ensure the system is operating with full functionality and to the expectations of Caltrans. C. Contractor shall ensure all equipment is compatible with current system wiring and shall upgrade wiring if necessary to ensure proper functionality and connectivity between system components. D. Closed Circuit Video Surveillance System 1) Security Cameras a. Removal and legal disposal of the nine (9) existing interior security cameras. b. Installation of nine (9) National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliant and Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) standard-compatible Internet Protocol (IP) security cameras and associated wiring. c. While installing cameras, Contractor configures the visual coverage of them by altering their physical orientation. Configuration must be approved by Caltrans Contract Manager. 2) Network Video Recorder (NVR) a. Removal and legal disposal of one (1) existing NVR. b. Installation of one (1) NDAA compliant and Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) standard compatible new IP network video recorder and associated wiring with existing equipment. Recorder must be capable of being accessed via an online web portal in either Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox browsers.
