Performance: Drop Resistance Test: The sandbag filled with 44 pounds of clean dry sand shall withstand three consecutive 36 inch free fall drops onto a hard unyielding surface without rupture of fabric on seams. Drops to be onto face, side, and butt. Tie String: Jute or polypropylene sufficiently strong to tie finished bag without breaking. Tie to be affixed to bag edge 3 to 4 inches from top of bag. Packing: Finished (unfilled) bags to be in compressed bundles of 1,000 per bale stacked on pallets and shrink wrapped. Pallets shall have the number and size of sandbags printed in large numbers on 2 adjacent sides of the pallet with 1 facing outward.
