Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington (AACCW) is accepting Letters of Intent to Bid for Aging Network Chore (ANC) services offered primarily to those age 60+ or others meeting specific criteria for ANC services. Services must include all 6 counties (Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln, and Okanogan Counties, excluding the Colville Reservation). The services are provided on a temporary basis to clients residing in their own homes to prevent unnecessary institutionalization and to protect clients from unsafe or unhealthy conditions. Clients must need help with at least one personal care task, including: ambulation, bathing, body care, dressing, eating, positioning, self-medication, toileting, transferring. Clients can also receive assistance with household tasks such as: essential shopping, housework, laundry, meal preparation, travel to medical services, wood supply.
