The St. Tammany Parish Public School Board (STPSB) is requesting proposals from vendors to design and implement a network backbone for connecting all schools and office locations to the Information Technology Department. Our objective is to review, purchase, and have a solution installed. The solution must start operating on July 1, 2026. This proposal is to replace an existing WAN service infrastructure currently in use. Although this request references the existing design, the project welcomes alternative methodologies that provide an equal or better performance outcome. The solution must be scalable with statistical reporting. The St. Tammany Parish School System is requesting a proposal for connections at or above 10GB with the option for higher data rates. The St. Tammany Parish School Board (STPSB) is interested in the total scope of services offered by the vendors who have a focus on providing secure wide area network solutions. STPSB is seeking a complete system from installation of wiring to configuration of any and all system components. STPSB is seeking a vendor that has broad and demonstrated experience in wide area network infrastructure in school systems similar to STPSB.
