The objective of this project is to enhance accessibility and safety at Davis Field in Elma, WA, by installing a 160-foot-long by 10-foot-wide ramp, complete with retaining walls and integrated stairs. Miscellaneous metals will include handrails and a flagpole. Utility work will include storm drainage and conduits to support future electric and communication wiring. A small concrete plaza will be installed to attach to existing walk surfaces. This infrastructure improvement aims to provide equitable access for individuals of all mobility levels, ensuring compliance with ADA standards, while facilitating safe and efficient pedestrian movement to and from the field. The project will enhance community engagement by improving access to recreational and event spaces, promoting inclusivity, and supporting the longterm usability of Davis Field for residents and visitors.
