The City of Vallejo is soliciting proposals from consultants with expertise in public sector labor relations services, which includes labor negotiations, assisting the Human Resources department in advising the City Manager and the City Council in employer-employee relations, and assisting the Human Resources Department with meeting and conferring in good faith with representatives of recognized employee organizations. The City of Vallejo is seeking a partnership that will maintain the respectful relationships between the City and its employee organizations and utilize an interest-based approach whenever feasible. The City welcomes proposals from all qualified service providers. The City may, in its sole discretion, enter into contracts with multiple-qualified providers or may reject all proposals and not award a contract at this time.
