The Philadelphia Department of Prisons (PDP) seeks qualified Sewing Machine Repair Technicians to provide maintenance and repair services for various sewing machines located throughout the PDP campus. Technicians will be responsible for the following duties: Diagnose mechanical and operational issues to determine appropriate repair solutions; Disassemble, repair, and reassemble sewing machines as needed; Perform routine preventative maintenance on a quarterly basis to ensure optimal machine performance; Supply all necessary replacement parts at list price (a current price list must be provided with the bid); Cleaning and replacing parts on the Consew Blade Saw Machine; Preferences will be given to local vendor. 75.0 HR - Hour; Additional Requirements: Vendors must be located within a 30-minute travel radius of the Philadelphia Department of Prisons; The City of Philadelphia will not reimburse for travel time or tolls incurred
