The California Department of Justice (DOJ) seeks to obtain a team of well qualified and experienced IT Consultants (Consultant Team) to assist the Application Development Bureau (ADB) on the National Criminal History Improvement Program (NCHIP) 30 Project. The Consultant Team will be a minimum of seven (7) full-time consultants consisting of four (4) Senior Software Engineers that must have an advanced level of Java Enterprise Edition (EE) and Procedural Language/ Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) experience and knowledge, and three (3) Business Solutions Analyst to review and access all impacted systems by the NCHIP 30 project. The Senior Software Engineers will provide necessary support, modifications, and enhancements to existing and new firearms systems and fulfill the requirements while the Business Solutions Analysts will conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, gathering business rules, managing requirements in JIRA R4J, and documenting system requirements in order to meet client needs and the requirements of the legislation of the NCHIP 30 project. The Business Solutions Analysts will also assist in functional testing and stabilizing the implementation for the legislatively mandated enhancements to all impacted systems.
