2.1.1 Project Management 2.1.1.1 Set up an initial project kickoƯ meeting to discuss the schedule for implementing tasks, roles and responsibilities, and logistical considerations. Meeting shall be in-person or via telephone/video teleconference. Based on the meeting, the Contractor shall prepare a draft Project Management Plan and Schedule describing the implementation and schedule for completing each task in this SOW. If necessary, the Contractor shall revise the Project Management Plan and Schedule so that it is mutually acceptable to the CMD. 2.1.2 Monthly Stormwater Visual Observations 2.1.2.1 Observation and recording of floating and suspended materials, oil and grease, discolorations, turbidity, and odor. The storm water discharge observations will be conducted at all outfalls, containment sources (e.g., secondary containment or storage ponds) at the time that the discharge is sampled (see below). Form 4: Visual Observations of Storm Water Discharges or equivalent (Attachment A-1), will be used to document observations, and will be kept for five years from the date of the inspection. If visual signs of pollution are observed, the Contractor shall document them on Form 4 and try to determine the source of the pollution, if possible, and determine what new or revised best management practices (BMPs) are required to eliminate or reduce pollution. Contractor shall provide recommendation of revisions to the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan based on observations. 2.1.2.2 Collection of stormwater samples at the two sampling locations during Qualified Storm Events (QSEs) and filling out Form 1. The Contractor shall provide personnel trained to collect the samples, but no special license is required. The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) located in Attachment A-2 contains a site map showing the two sample locations. Sampling must occur during two QSEs occurring between July 1 and December 30 and during two QSEs occurring between January 1 and June 30. Flowing water must be observed for a sample to be collected. If flowing water is not observed at one and/or both sample locations, then the Contractor shall be responsible for returning and collecting sample(s) during the next QSE until two samples have been collected from each sample location for each sixmonth period listed above. The two QSEs during each reporting period must be more than 48 hours apart. Contractor shall supply all equipment and appropriate sampling containers for collecting the required stormwater samples.
