Clothing Specifications: the County desires to order the items listed. Each bidder must be able to provide the items listed or a comparable product. Each item shall be new, unused, current models and not previously sold to another customer or otherwise deficient, defective or ill fitting. If Forsyth County determines at any point during the term that it has received “seconds”, samples, and/or any other item that is not new and first quality, the vendor will be considered in default and Forsyth County shall have the option to terminate the contract and award to another vendor. ● Quantity: There is breakdown of employee counts and how many articles of clothing are issued to each position. This information is based on the most recent year’s order and should be considered an estimate of needs. The actual quantities of each item ordered may decrease or increase based on the current year’s needs. The estimates shall not be considered guaranteed quantities for ordering. ○ There are approximately 225 employees between the two departments not including new hires and replacement items. This total number of employees is subject to change during the term and shall not be considered a guarantee of uniforms to be ordered. ○ Orders will be placed in bulk quantities as much as possible. ● Logo & Embroidery: The County logo is included. Some shirts, depending on an employee’s position, may require more or less embroidery and not all positions receive a County seal on their shirt.
