A. 2FM and DCASE Management and Venue Oversight 1. The City of Chicago owns Millennium Park and is governed by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (“DCASE”), pursuant to Municipal Code of Chicago §10-36-140. The Property Management is overseen by 2FM, (reporting to the Bureau of Facilities Operations and Bureau of Asset Management). 2. DCASE is responsible for all programming and event planning. Millennium Park hosts about 100 private events and about 250 free public programs year-round. Generally, during peak season in the summer, there are 70- 90 days of concerts, films or other public events. DCASE curates the public events and contracts private events. 3. DCASE, along with 2FM, are responsible for policy decisions. 4. 2FM and DCASE works with the Millennium Park Foundation (“MPF”), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that partially funded the construction of the Park and continues to fund improvements and programming on an annual basis. MPF also oversees the programmatic operation of the Lurie Garden, curatorial support of the Boeing Galleries, and retains copyrights to many of the installations of art and architecture from the artists, sculptors and architects that designed these works. B. Policies, Rules and Regulations The Contractor and its subcontractors must adhere to, abide by and enforce all policies, rules and regulations referenced in this section. 1. Millennium Park Hours Millennium Park is open to the public 365 days per year between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
