2.1 The engine oil shall be a petroleum product meeting all the requirements of this Specification. Only oil manufactured utilizing virgin base oils or re-refined oil that is qualified by the American Petroleum Institute, (API-approved), shall be acceptable. 2.2 Grades: The following grades of engine oil shall be furnished under the terms of this Specification: 2.2.1 SAE Grade 5W-20 Synthetic Blend Gasoline Engine Oil: Bulk Delivery This engine oil shall meet or exceed the requirements of Specification WSS-M2C960-A1, API Letter Code Service classification SN PLUS and be energy conserving. This oil shall be used in gasoline powered engines. Deliveries shall be in bulk to the Auto Shop. 2.2.2 SAE Grade 5W-30 Synthetic Blend Gasoline Engine Oil: In Drums: This engine oil shall meet or exceed the requirements of Specification WSS-M2C961-A1, API Letter Code Service classification SN PLUS and be energy conserving. This oil shall be used in gasoline powered engines. Deliveries shall be in 55-gallon drums to the Auto Shop.
