The department is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide AVP workshops at HMCC and WCC. Each workshop must be facilitated by a certified AVP Lead Facilitator, who will coordinate and supervise a minimum of two additional certified AVP facilitators. Required workshop types include: • Basic 18-hour AVP workshops • Advanced 18-hour AVP workshops • Training for Facilitators (T4F) 18-hour AVP workshops; Participation in AVP workshops is voluntary and may not be mandated. Each workshop must accommodate a minimum of ten (10) and a maximum of twenty (20) participants. Priority enrollment shall be given to: • Individuals currently participating in the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) program • Individuals who plan to participate in the RSAT program • Individuals with a diagnosed or documented history of substance use disorder who are unable to participate in the RSAT program Workshop Requirements: The number of workshops to be provided by the contractor is based on a 12-month delivery schedule. If the contract term is less than 12 months, the required number of workshops and associated payments will be prorated accordingly. The department reserves the right to adjust the number of workshops based on operational needs. The contractor may not bill for workshops canceled by the department. The following workshops represent the full annual service expectations for a 12-month term: • Twelve (12) AVP workshops annually o Six (6) Basic 18-hour AVP workshops o One (1) Basic 18-hour AVP workshop specifically for department staff and contracted RSAT staff o Four (4) Advanced 18-hour AVP workshops for incarcerated individuals who have completed the Basic AVP workshop o One (1) Training for Facilitators (T4F) 18-hour AVP workshop...
