Horry County School District is soliciting bids for the sale of 12,706 Dell 3120 Latitude laptops and 739 Dell 3140 Latitude laptops to a certified electronic recycling company. Devices contain metallic Dell Asset Tags that contain Dell serial number and HCS Asset number. Device were allowed to be taken home by students daily. Devices were not used with protective case. Dell warranty on all devices has expired. Chargers are not included with devices. The devices will be sold AS-IS. Approximately 50% of devices show physical damage. The District will not pay for repairs or other associated costs. A spreadsheet with device serial numbers is attached. Viewing/inspection of devices will not be allowed. There are no pictures available. Price should include a full data wipe (if needed), shipping and onsite packaging cost. Packaging will be allowed on-site at the Horry County School district office if needed. All devices are stored in one central location on wrapped pallets with 15 devices per box. There is no loading dock available. All customer information shall be removed and erased from the device. No customer information will be provided to a third party. Department of Defense (DoD) certified erasure required.
