Provide one (1) 100’ free-standing, 3-legged, lattice communications tower to meet or exceed the following criteria: A. ANSI/TIA-222 Rev I, ASCE 7-16 Ultimate Wind Speed (No Ice) 109 MPH, Wind Speed (Ice) 30 MPH, Design Ice Thickness 1 Inch, Structure Class II, Exposure Category B, Topographic Category 1. B. The City of Owasso has obtained a geotechnical survey of the tower premise. The City of Owasso is making available the report from this study. The final tower and foundation design drawings shall accommodate the results of this study. C. Concrete slump test and 28-day break test of the foundation. D. A ground resistance test of the tower premise shall be performed by the vendor and provide to customer supporting documentation of the final test. The vendor shall provide and install a tower grounding system to meet a resistance of five (5) ohms or less. The grounding system shall meet at a minimum the following requirements: • Tower shall have a grounding ring installed thirty (30) inches below grade consisting of #2 solid tinned copper grounding conductor around the perimeter of the foundation. • Grounding ring shall have bonded to it three (3) 5/8” x 8’ copper ground rods equally spaced around the perimeter of the ring. • Each tower leg shall have one (1) down conductor of same material bonded from the tower leg flange to the ground ring, and the down conductor shall be encased in flexible non-metallic conduit above grade. • Tower face associated with the waveguide ladder (north face) shall have one (1) ¼” x 2” x 12” tinned ground bar installed and isolated on the tower face at approximately the 8ft. level. Two (2) down conductors of same materials stated above shall leave ground bar and bond to tower grounding ring. Down conductors shall be encased in flexible non-metallic conduit above grade. • All grounding conductors shall be bonded by using exothermic welds.
