The Pennsylvania (PA), Department of Labor and Industry (DLI), Bureau of Disability Determination (BDD) is seeking an Offeror to provide Consultative Examinations (CE) and Ancillary Testing services, in making disability determinations for claimants of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Benefits. The PA, DLI, BDD adjudicates claims for SSDI and SSI Benefits under an agreement with the Social Security Administration (SSA). As part of BDD’s adjudicative process, disability claims adjudicators obtain medical evidence from the claimant’s medical sources. When these sources cannot or will not provide sufficient evidence to decide, the Claims Adjudicator may order a CE and/or ancillary testing.
