The NH Department of Safety (DOS), Division of Administration (DOA), is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the procurement, installation, maintenance, support, and training of digital print equipment, blanking line equipment, and the graphic design system to replace existing equipment that has reached the end of its service life. The NH Department of Safety, Division of Administration serves a critical support role in receiving, ordering, and distributing license plates for the DOS Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) locations and municipal agents statewide. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors for the provision of a cost-effective and efficient solution—either through purchase or lease—for the production of vehicle license plates. The selected solution must support the annual output of approximately 600,000 license plates across 99 different plate types currently issued by the DMV, with capacity for the introduction of new plate types and designs. The successful proposer shall provide equipment and services capable of producing flat (nonembossed) aluminum license plates with reflective sheeting. The proposed solution must meet the following requirements: Annual production capacity of at least 600,000 plate sets Compatibility with 99 existing classifications of license plates.
