The Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Grant must encompass the following: • Enhancement of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources programs in local educational agencies through capitalized equipment upgrades; and • Implementation of activities within the period of performance. 2.2 Program Activities Applicants receiving an award are responsible for utilizing these funds to carry out activities that advance student achievement and support student success through implementation of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources pathways. Each eligible school district receiving an award will use the funds to carry out activities that assist their Career and Technical Education programs in properly equipping their classrooms and/or labs to teach the most recent curriculum for Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources programs.
