Chaplain Services for Chicago-Read Mental Health Center, 4200 N. Oak Park Ave, Chicago, IL 60634, for two (2) partial days per week. Services will include, but are not limited to, the following duties: 1.1.1. Providing and responding to the religious and spiritual needs of patients and their significant others, in consultation with unit staff. 1.1.2. Conducting an array of interfaith services for patients during hospitalization, including but not limited to worship, prayer sessions, memorial services, and spiritual reflections. 1.1.3. Assisting patients in facilitating contact with Community Clergy or Religious Leaders upon request and in coordination with treatment teams. 1.1.4. Providing oversight, monitoring, and/or assistance in arranging or escorting community clergy in accordance with CRMHC policies and procedures. 1.1.5. Documenting religious service attendance and pastoral care sessions using pastoral care tracking forms, in alignment with CRMHC policies and procedures. 1.1.6. Providing, ordering, and screening religious and spiritual literature/materials to ensure appropriateness and accessibility for patients, as needed. 1.1.7. Coordinating and supervising Pastoral Care Volunteers or Volunteer Organizations, including oversight of activity logs, volunteer statistics, and related documentation. 1.1.8. Reviewing and revising CRMHC Pastoral Care policies and assisting in the development of ecumenical or enhanced programming, in collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation Services. 1.1.9. Ensuring a safe and confidential environment for patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to all safety protocols, including elopement precautions, pass procedures, HIPAA regulations, and confidentiality standards. 1.1.10. Adhering to all applicable infection control policies and procedures as required by CRMHC and related regulatory agencies.
