The City of Casa Grande (City) is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction services and complete construction services as the CMAR for the following projects, herein referred to as "the Project" (Figure A – below): - Traffic Signal at the intersection of Florence Blvd and Arizola Rd - Florence Boulevard and Peart Road (Re-Wire Traffic Signal) This CMAR is intended to provide pre-construction services up to and including the creation of a guaranteed maximum price for construction and then execute construction of the project. Traffic Signal at the intersection of Florence Blvd and Arizola Rd The traffic signal is intended to improve traffic flow and enhance commuter safety due to increased high-density development and increased traffic flow at this intersection. The improvement work entails the following: • removals of pavements, traffic signal equipment, and pavement markings • construction of concrete and asphalt pavements, storm drainage facilities, pavement markings, traffic signs, traffic signal poles, mast arms, signal heads, signal controller, and related traffic signal equipment, conduit and conductors, utility adjustments, restoration of landscaping improvements, and other miscellaneous items. Traffic Signal at the intersection of Florence Boulevard and Peart Road The current traffic signal wiring is deteriorating and must be removed. New wiring will need to be installed and connected to the existing traffic signal equipment. Additionally, the existing traffic signal controller will most likely be replaced with a McCain cabinet and components to allow for future ITS connection.
