2.2.1 The purpose of this solicitation is to award a contract to provide quarterly pest control services and maintenance at both SHA Leonardtown Maintenance Shop facilities in St. Mary’s County for a 4-year period. 2.2.2 Bidders shall bid the work as an all-inclusive quarterly fee for the contract (16 equal quarterly payments). 2.2.3 Quarterly service shall cover the control of rats, mice, gnats, moths, water bugs, ants, spiders, silverfish, crickets, centipedes, bees, and other general pests at the locations mentioned above. Rat and mouse infestations located in burrows in the ground adjacent to the building shall be included in the bid price. 2.2.4 This quarterly service fee will not include termite control nor termite inspection services. 2.2.5 The service shall include treatment of at least six (6) feet from the exterior walls of the buildings using generally accepted industry standards. The quarterly shall cover the cost of all labor, overhead, materials, pesticides, travel, fuels, and all related items to performing the work at both locations.
