The project consists of the removal of the existing asphalt and metal shingles, eave metal and felt underlayment on the Keeper’s Residence and the Boathouse at Seul Choix. Any rotten material is to be replaced with treated plywood of matching thickness. Remove existing flashing and drip edge. Apply new layer of 15lb felt of entire roof and new layer of ice and water shield membrane at all eaves and valleys. Install new shingles, drip edge and flashing. Flashing, drip edges and eave metal are to be factory finished or painted to match the color of the shingle as closely as possible. Color samples of the proposed shingle, and flashing, drip edge, eave metal finish must be submitted for owner approval before ordering or installing these materials.
