The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) requires the acquisition and use of S.W.A.T. vans for the World Cup, with all applications geared to providing reliable, safe, austere-environment-ready performance to support first responders. As a baseline, each S.W.A.T. van supports communications, surveillance, situational awareness, and tactical response operations, in urban and rugged field environments. No other known S.W.A.T. van currently is available in the United States, provides a completely upfitted vehicle, custom designed with all necessary patent-pending security components, or includes diagrammed internal wiring system practices. As a result, this represents a proprietary requirement that meets the criteria as a single feasible source under RSMo 34.044 and the State is pursuing this acquisition as a Single Feasible Source.
