The waterline will begin on Rico Street running North towards NM HWY 118 (Historic Route 66) and crossing NM HWY 118 to the North side of the road. Jacking & boring and waterline tie-ins is located within NMDOT right of way on the west side of Gallup. This project consists of installing approximately 475 linear feet of 8-inch AWWA C900 PVC waterline. The project includes one (1) jack and bore crossing with 14-inch steel casing and 8-inch DIP carrier pipe. The work will replace an existing waterline crossing NM HWY 118 into Rico Street. This project also includes tie-ins to existing waterline mains, removal of existing waterlines, installation of gate valves, fire hydrants, other appurtenances, and traffic control. The removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, sidewalk, curb & gutter, traffic striping, and all associated earth work is also included with this project.
