The City of Broken Arrow seeks to retain a professional planning consulting firm that has substantial relevant experience in developing and drafting land use, open space and design regulations. This plan should complement the Downtown Master Plan (2005), the Downtown Overlay District Plan (2018), as well as the Broken Arrow NEXT Comprehensive Plan (2019). It is the goal of the City of Broken Arrow to complete this Master Plan within 12 months, with the help of a consulting firm based on the following: • Phase 1: Review & Establish Study Area Boundary. This task will be completed with the assistance of City StaƯ. • Phase 2: Coordinate and establish goals for this Study. This task includes analyses of the existing Downtown Master Plan, the Downtown Residential Overlay District, the Housing & Demographic Study, Living Green Program, GO Plan, Old Town Engineering and Planning Report, Economic Development Corporation Entrepreneurial Report, GIS Stop Control Intersection Map, as well as the recently adopted Zoning Ordinance. • Phase 3. The city will form a Citizen Advisory Committee for this project. Consultants and StaƯ to attend meetings. • Phase 4. Input from the Citizen Advisory Committee. • Phase 5. Public meetings and survey. • Phase 5. Periodic meetings with the Citizen Advisory Committee, the Planning Commission and City Council.
