Contractor shall provide a new 30’ x 30’ shelter of Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) construction and built on-site, OR new prefabricated shelter delivered to the site. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining the permits to transport and for transporting the shelter to the site. Prefabricated shelter shall be attached to the foundations in accordance with the shelter manufacturer’s specifications. The building foundation shall be a concrete slab and installed in compliance with local building codes and manufacturer’s specifications. The foundation shall be designed per the appropriate geotechnical report. The Contractor shall submit detailed foundation designs to the County and applicable departments. A concrete pad four (4’) by four (4’) feet by six (6”) inches shall be furnished and installed at the entrance door to the shelter, with minimum rebar reinforcement as required by structural calculations and in conformance with applicable local codes.
