Equipment Specifications: Minimum Requirements. 3.8.1 2 or 4-Wheel Drive. 3.8.2 Low Profile Floatation (Turf) Tires: Front, 15" Width; Rear, 22" Width (Minimum). 3.8.3 Hopper Capacity: 3-5-ton (Maximum); Vehicle weight and balance are critical to protecting turf surfaces across rolling terrain during application process. 3.8.4 Application: Must be capable of applying in widths of 20 ft to 60 ft (Minimum/Maximum) 3.8.5 Control-Rate: On-board computerized spreading consistency to control system to ensure even spreading of product across all designated turf surfaces. 3.8.6 Product Loading: Must be capable of lifting large packaging/containers from product staging surface for dumping into hopper, i.e., on-board crane or equivalent material handling capability. NOTE: The City does not provide equipment or manpower to assist the bidder in this function.
