o Installation of a Modified Bitumen Roof System includes: o Removal and disposal of existing roof down to the deck o Clean and inspect the roof deck, then prepare it for new roof installation o Install new wood blocking at perimeter and around penetrations and curbs o Mechanically attach two layers of polyiso roofing insulations, staggering the joints, for a total of R=25 o Fully adhere ½” Densdeck prime in low rise foam adhesive o Install two-ply modified bitumen roofing system in cold-applied adhesive o Fabricate and install new 24GA sheet metal gravel stop edge, cleated with new 22GA galvanized continuous cleats o Install new retrofit roof drains at all roof drain locations o Flash all curbs and penetrations to meet Manufacturer’s Warranty requirements o Approved Roofing Manufacturer’s – Soprema, Garland, Siplast o Provide a Manufacturer’s 20-year Weathertightness Warranty and a Contractor’s 2-year Workmanship Warranty o Submit Approved Applicator Letter with bid
