Scope of Work (SOW), Deliverables & Cost Estimate : Fireworks Display – The Contractor would be expected to complete the following SOW and deliverables for the Display: Design, plan and choreograph a fireworks show appropriate for the venue and that meets the required budget. Access and plan for any potential problems or hinderances to being able to provide a successful display; i.e. in climate weather, etc. Complete and provide an itemized list of effects quantities and costs. Supply all pyrotechnical effects and materials, and any required equipment, etc. Provide qualified professional pyrotechnic operators or personnel. Ensure proper transport and storage of fireworks per DOT and ATF regulations. Set up, fire, and dismantle all fireworks display equipment. Conduct a pre-show staging test run to ensure a successful display. Safety & Compliance Requirements – The Contractor would be expected to have or obtain the following with regards to all Safety & Compliance requirements. Determine and maintain all required insurance, permits and licensure, if appropriate. Note: The Contractor must be able determine what is necessary and then obtain all required permits. Obtain and provide evidence of all required insurance. Provide a site plan showing safety perimeters, fallout zones, and firing locations. Detail a tactical plan that shows coordination with local fire, police, EMS, and other required staff. Ensure all pyrotechnicians are licensed and trained. Conduct a pre-show safety inspection and final walk-through. Research and plan all logistics for staging, that ensure safety during the event (launch site, crowd control, etc.) and all associated costs, including, if needed, personnel for patrolling areas like the Seawalk. Budget Estimate –CBJ needs to determine the expected costs for these services and requests that Contractors provide a total cost estimate with their RFI response. A comprehensive cost estimate is desired that shows the scale and complexity of a proposed display. The estimate must include all costs for the professional pyrotechnic services, any permits, all insurance requirements, costs for all logistics, etc. NOTE: The CBJ is not able to provide any facilities, equipment, personnel or services under this contract, such uses would require separate use agreements.
