1. Provide Blind Cane Tapping Training Services for the proper use of a blind tapping cane following an initial assessment. The initial assessment shall determine the current level of the incarcerated persons ambulatory abilities. 2. Provide the number of sessions required to meet established training per initial assessment results. 3. Provide Cognitive Skills Training to include an introductory program for adults who are newly blind or have experienced a change in vision. The program shall introduce basic and essential skills to live confidently in the community. Topics shall include magnifications, organization skills, time management, use of adaptive aids, provide incarcerated persons solutions and strategies for living with low vision or blindness.
