Scope of Work - Roof Specifications: • 300lbs architectural shingle or equivalent • Closest color match with the community center and town hall • Tarps to be used at all striping areas • Ice & Water shield installed 6 feet • 8-inch drip edge installed ONLY after ice & Water shield applied • Synthetic roof paper only • Specify price per sheet of plywood if needs replacement • Ice & Water shield applied under step flashing and any low slope areas • Hip & Ridge caps only (not to use 3-tab shingles) • Ridge Vent containing outside baffles • 8-inch drip edge to be installed along all rakes as well as gutter lines • All flat roofing will be ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EDPM) 60 mil or equivalent. • EPDM membranes shall be reinforced with scrim or fabric for added strength and puncture resistance. • EPDM roofing will be black. • EDPM roofing shall conform to ASTM D4637 standards. • EPDM roofing will be installed using manufacturer-recommended methods, such as factory-applied tape (FAT), tape and sealant, or liquid adhesives. • Flashing materials must be compatible with the EPDM membrane and other roofing components...
