The successful bidder will be responsible for providing the following deliverables in support of the Vermont Correctional Academy (VCA): 1. Meal Delivery Services a. Bidder will provide daily lunch meals for a varying number of trainees as specified by the State. b. Deliver to: Vermont Correctional Academy, 1713 Industrial Parkway, Lyndonville, VT. c. Delivery schedule: Monday through Friday, including holidays, during academy sessions. d. Meals must be delivered no later than 10:30 AM on each scheduled service day. 2. Meal Components a. Each lunch meal must include: i. Lunch-appropriate entrée such as a deli-style sandwich, wrap, salad or equivalent. ii. Portion of chips or comparable side iii. Individually portioned, ready-to-eat. iv. Desert option. v. Individual drink selection (e.g., soda, diet soda, bottled water). vi. All condiments appropriate to the provided meal. vii. Disposable utensils and serveware: Includes plates, napkins, cutlery, and any other required items. 3. Special Dietary Accommodations a. Bidder will provide alternative meals upon request to accommodate: i. Religious dietary requirements ii. Food allergies or sensitivities iii. Medical or nutritional restrictions iv. Vegetarian or other identified dietary preferences 4. Meal Planning and Coordination a. A complete schedule of academy sessions will be provided no later than the first day of each calendar year. b. Bidder will be responsive to updates on headcount and meal preferences as needed. c. If non-disposable serving items are used, the bidder will retrieve all equipment (e.g., serving dishes, trays, utensils) on the next business day following delivery
