Chlorine Gas • Form: Compressed gas • Container size: 150-pound steel cylinders • Purity: Minimum 99.5% available chlorine by volume • Compliance: Must comply with AWWA Standard B301-24, latest revision • Cylinders must be equipped with approved gas valves and safety caps, and must comply with applicable DOT regulations • Contractor will supply an SDS Sheet for each chemical delivery. Digital versions are acceptable. Aqua Ammonia (Liquid Ammonia) • Form: Aqueous solution of ammonia gas in water • Concentration: 40% by weight • Packaging: 150-gallon containers or equivalent packaging suitable for safe delivery and dosing • Compliance: Must comply with AWWA Standard B305-22, latest revision • Solution must be clear, colorless to slightly yellow, and free from visible impurities or suspended solids • Material must be suitable for use in potable water treatment applications • It shall be the Contractor’s responsibility to have the proper fittings to connect to the existing fittings or to fit the hoses within the existing delivery receptacle tanks - at each delivery site. • Contractor will supply an SDS Sheet for each chemical delivery. Digital versions are acceptable.
