Specifications cover professional janitorial services to be provided on a contract basis for the City of Big Rapids including the following locations: City Hall (226 N. Michigan Avenue), Community Library (426 S. Michigan Avenue), Public Safety (345 N. Michigan Avenue). The expectation of the City is to contract with an experienced firm that can provide and maintain a high quality of service and appearance for the inside of these public buildings. Because of the nature of the City Hall Building, Library Building, Department of Public Safety Building, any person(s) assigned to work in these areas must pass a criminal history check. Contractor and their employees shall wear I.D. badges or company provided uniforms (shirts, etc.). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies and equipment required for the performance of the services provided (paper products and trash can liners are supplied by the City for installation and use by the Contractor).
