The requirements of this solution will provide for an enhanced level of service with simplified management while maintaining cost efficiency. The City intends to port all DIDs currently in use with the existing system. The City will work with the selected Vendor to establish a cut-over date. The solution will need to include up to 260 users (with multiple devices and/or extensions), DIDs, and call paths (to match user count). The solution must support a wide variety of standard, readily available SIP phones from various manufacturers, including Yealink, Polycom, Panasonic, or equivalent. The solution must also be capable of expansion to include SMS for specified DIDs, as well as the capability to support an SMS enabled Call Center. The proposal response should include pricing per telephone as well for both the proposed wired and wireless phone models. The City of Kinston will standardize all phones for both executive users (department heads/supervisors).
