The City of Rahway seeks to commission a permanent public art piece for Veterans Memorial Square Park in Rahway, NJ. The artwork will be an original figurative bronze sculpture of high artistic merit that represents the valor and sacrifice of America’s military service members. The artist must work with the City’s designated Committee during the design stage. This includes the review and approval of a maquette, approximate 1/3 scale maquette, and full-size clay sculpture. The approved full size clay sculpture will be used to form the mold to cast the bronze piece. The City of Rahway will separately fund and contract for a base, footer, landscaping, lighting, and other needs. The artwork installation will take place in 2026.
