1.The Contractor shall ensure that all trip mileage charges shall begin and end at the campus location. 2. Final scheduling for departure times and pick-up locations are the responsibility of the Contractor and should be made with South Carolina State University COR for this trip. 3. South Carolina State University COR will provide the Contractor with an updated itinerary if a change is necessary, at a minimum of 24 hours before the departure date and time stated herein (exceptions shall be for travel change mandated for reasons out of South Carolina State University’s control). 4. The Contractor shall include local travel at destinations stated herein (i.e. from the hotel to the restaurant, convention center, etc.). The Contractor shall transport groups to and from meals and other locations as necessary. 5. Charters are subject to change based on schedule changes, health protocols or inclement weather and may require a change in schedule or cancellation of scheduled trip. Any change will be provided as soon as information becomes available. 6. Contractor shall not leave passengers stranded in the case of the bus’s malfunction; and shall provide a substitute bus within sixty (60) minutes of the trip’s interruption. 7. For every trip, the Contractor must provide a telephone number for emergency contact during the regular workday, after hours, and on weekends. 8. Charter buses shall be in good mechanical condition and be capable of transporting the minimum number of passengers as noted for each trip. 9. Bus driver and bus shall remain with the group for the duration of the group for the duration of the trip unless explicitly stated otherwise by the COR. 10. Buses shall be clean and in “like-new” or “good” condition and shall be safe and offer the following amenities: a. Air ride suspension b. Large panoramic windows c. Lighting: Buses shall be equipped with adequate lighting to serve the needs of the individual passenger. d. Large, plush and spacious interior and shall easily accommodate larger riders. e. Seats shall be reclining bucket seats f. Overhead comfort control air conditioning, heating and reading lights g. Lavatory shall be well maintained, clean, and well lit. h. AM/FM radio w/ Public Address (PA) system i. TV w/ remote control j. 110V/USB Outlets for charging k. TV Monitors l. Wi-Fi Capability and Connection m. Front, middle and rear electrical outlets n. Charter buses shall be equipped with air conditioning and heating units. The interior temperature of the charter bus shall be controlled to ensure passenger comfort at all times regardless of seasonal weather conditions. o. Prior to departure from garaging point, charter buses shall be serviced to ensure proper operating condition and the interior and exterior shall be thoroughly cleaned. p.
