FILTER REQUIREMENTS: 1. Fiberglass Disposable: To be constructed from a layer of fiberglass bonded between two metal grids. The metal grids to provide rigidity to the filter. The filter to be encased in a cardboard frame. 2. Extended Surface Non-Supported Pocket, 40-45% Efficiency: To be constructed of synthetic media. Shall be a minimum MERV (Maximum Efficiency Reporting Value) 10 and meet American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) efficiency ratings. 3. Extended Surface Non-Supported Pocket, 90-95% Efficiency: To be constructed of synthetic media. Shall be a minimum MERV 14 and meet ASHRAE efficiency ratings. 4. Extended Surface, Supported Box Style, 80-90% Efficiency: To be constructed of synthetic media having a galvanized steel frame designed to withstand environmental conditions. Shall be minimum MERV 14 and meet ASHRAE efficiency ratings. 5. Extended Surface Pleated Panel, 1”, 2”, and 4”, 30-40% Efficiency: To be used in HVAC fresh air, air handling units. Industrial pleated filters to be constructed of synthetic fibers in order to obtain high dust control and filtering efficiency. Filters shall be glued to a metal backing to prevent air filters from sagging or flexing while in use to prevent air by-pass. Shall be a minimum of MERV 7 and meet ASHRAE efficiency ratings, Standard 52.1 or Standard 52.2...
