2.2 Mowing WSDOT Aviation will provide maps and clearly defined mowing boundaries for each airport location. Pricing for mowing in response to this solicitation shall assume relative ease of access to Airstrips minimal slope, marginal or no vegetation impeding a working path. For specific work procured under this contract with more complicated logistics, additional or altered pricing may be allowable upon mutual written agreement between WSDOT and the Contractor, per the specifications in section 2.6 of this contract. Areas to Be Mowed: • Runway and taxiway safety areas (as defined in FAA Advisory Circulars) • Aircraft parking aprons and hangar surroundings • Windsock areas and visual aids • Perimeter and access roads • Firebreaks or defensible zones around airport boundaries • Any other areas specified in site maps
