The anticipated construction scope includes replacing water heaters in basement and waste/vent pipe in various restrooms, breakrooms, custodial closets and drinking fountains in West City Hall. Wrap PVC as needed for rated conditions. Work includes demo and repair of wall and ceiling finishes needed to access concealed work. Fire-resistive through-penetrations and/or assemblies disturbed during demolition to be restored. Possible additional work (depending on budget), replace waste/vent pipe in custodial closets and break rooms with PVC. Replace water heaters in basement for tankless water heaters and storage tank; replace point-of-use (insta-hot) devices in breakroom areas with building-source hot water supply lines.
