Demolition – Base Scope: • Demolish and remove existing concrete topping slab, waterproofing membrane, joint sealants, expansion joints, deck drains, and trench drains within the area shown on Sheet R100-D. • Carefully avoid damage to structural deck during removal. Document all cracking, spalling, or exposed reinforcement. Concrete Topping Replacement – Base Scope: • Install new air-entrained, reinforced concrete topping slab within the area shown on Sheet R100 and per detail 1/R200: o Hot-applied rubberized asphalt waterproofing system o Drainage mat and protection board o Welded wire reinforcement per slab depth (2" to 5.5") o Floor slope coordination and elevation control to drains o Control joints per plan layout o Additional work to promote freeze-thaw resistance per structural engineer's specification
