Typical projects assigned under this contract may include new construction, renovation, remodeling, consultation, troubleshooting, installation, replacement, modification, upgrade, alteration, fabrication, extension, maintenance and repair of any interior or exterior HVAC system equipment, and components thereof, including, but not limited to: packaged cooling units; power ventilators; ductwork (as limited by license), grilles, registers and diffusers; pneumatic controls; cooling towers; chilled/hot water piping; rigging; air handlers; balancing of systems; mechanical system; split system heat pumps, straight cool and self-contained; unit ventilators; oil/gas furnaces; pumps; variable frequency drives; chillers and all related equipment; and, cast iron sectional and tube type boilers and all related equipment including controls. As part of services, respondent shall have the ability to accurately analyze and troubleshoot HVAC systems using current diagnostic equipment and shall also be responsible for refrigerant handling. Projects may be located at Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology, Jupiter, FL. The maximum per-project construction cost is $200,000.00.
