Typical projects assigned under this contract may include the execution of routine service work, emergency repairs and extensive plumbing projects that typically include, but not limited to: installation of lines and water supplies in renovation/remodeling projects; extension of plumbing hookups to portable classroom buildings; sewer line stop-ups, and; general repair of broken water lines, gate valves, hose bids, and other fittings, fixtures and equipment commonly encountered in the plumbing trade. In addition, as a supplement to this contract, contractor may periodically be required to provide other plumbing related services including, but not limited to testing, repair and maintenance of backflow prevention assemblies and video piping inspection. Projects may be located at the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology, Jupiter, FL. The maximum per-project construction cost is $200,000.00. Contractor will be required to furnish evidence satisfactory to the Owner that he or she has sufficient means and experience to perform the type of work specified, in order to assure completion of the contract in a satisfactory manner. Contractor must also have the manpower and capability of performing multiple projects simultaneously.
