Base Bid; Furnish all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for: Installation of approximately 15 acres of drip-irrigation tape (two 7.5 acres sections), replacing and expanding an existing 10 acres of drip tape according to the following specifications, including solenoid valves and manually operated drain valves, connect to existing sub-mains. Test and verify proper operation of each of 48 zones. Any existing drip tape shall be left in the ground and new drip tape shall be installed halfway between existing tape. Alternate 1; Instead of 48 zones, install only 32 zones (16 zones per block) nominally within the block boundaries shown in Figure 1, with an aggregate controller capacity of 32 zones. Alternate 2; Specify 15 mil wall thickness of drop tape in lieu of 12 mil thickness with all other specifications remaining the same for the Base Bid. Provide datasheets with bid. Alternate 3; Specify 15 mil wall thickness of drop tape in lieu of 12 mil thickness with all other specifications remaining the same for Alternate 1. Provide datasheets with bid.
